ORISSA NGO is a registered socio cultureal voluntary NON-GOVT. organization. It is a non-profit of organization it is duly registerd under societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, vide its Regn. No : 19595/27 of 1994-1995 by the IGR Cuttack. On ninteenth day of may 1994 and has been governed its Adminstration from its Head Office located at Sidhala, Jagatsingpur,Odisha. Since inception the organization has been conducting a lot of social development activities in its. Jurisdiction from own sources and with co-operation of communities and govt. agencies etc.
The ORISSA in full known as ORISSA RURAL INNOVATION SOCIAL SERVICE ASSOCIATION at-Batabihari, po-Sidhal, Dist -Jagatsinghpur , Odisha is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide children from low-income communities SC SC children of Odisha with a high-quality education through its Education branch “MAA AMBIKA SC ST ABASIKA SIKSHYASHRAM” enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their lives. Over the past 30 years, the organization has expanded from 15 children in one center to more than 3,00 children in its schools. The organization registered in the year 1994 having its registration no-19595/27 of 1994-1995 by the IGR Cuttack. On ninteenth day of may 1994. Since then it has been engaged in different social development activities.

It becomes possible by forming self help group to take out the always. Neglected women from the boundary of house under the open stey and to teach them to dream about a new life for the betterment society. In this respect village micro-credit cakes advantage of woman have increased as the members of self help group with their groups capital and by caking loan from bank start to perform some producible work to make them self reliance. The women who were busy only some household work till that day, now can help to are able to get a respected seat in society. Now even general women can deliver her speech fluently in a populous meeting talking about the future dream and can talk about her problems to uplift them. At least the illiterate women now can put their sign can sing in meeting can dance recite and many other things. After all during these two years the living standard of women has totally changed and this change has enlightened their live by seven colour rainbow.
